Do you have what it takes?
Here is your chance to win $1,000.00 worth of molds of your choice from the Chicago School of Mold Making!
To help promote and encourage innovative use of artisan silicone molds, we’re inviting pastry chefs to compete in a unique casting challenge. The winning showpiece will be from the chef who demonstrates the best artistic composition, use of color, kitchen work skills and innovative casting techniques. Each competitor will be teamed with a baking and pastry student to assist with the showpiece. Each team will have the same set of molds to work with must use of the molds creatively to differentiate their work from that of other competitors.
Competitors must be motivated, talented, creative, able to lead and ready to put it all on the line.
(This competition is geared towards working professionals or recent culinary grads looking to enter the competition world. Chefs who have won a professional competition or have competed in a national pastry competition are not eligible.)
