Dear Friends and Culinary Enthusiasts,
This summer has been great! The World Pastry Forum was a rejuvenating week of sharing ideas, stories and techniques with talented chefs from around the world. If you were not able to attend, we hope you will enjoy this issue of Pastry Postcards which features the World Pastry Championship. The international competitors kept us on the edge of our seats as their dessert paraded by and their showpieces went up. Back home in Chicago, we have been working on some beautiful projects, one of them is featured in this month’s Showcase. Please stay in touch as we are finishing up exciting new products for next month’s release.

World Pastry Championship 2010
Held in Arizona July 5-6, this international competition was an event to behold. Representatives from Denmark, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea and USA competed for the gold. The theme was Childhood and the results were AMAZING. Judge for yourself...

Master Pastry & Savory Chef Rudolph van VeenCongratulations to Master Chef Rudolph van Veen & Pastry Chef Robert van Beckhoven who have completed their Masterpatissiers, the first for the Netherlands. Now with a Master Program in place, Dutch pastry chefs have another reason to be motivated to reach new heights. Have a little summer fun by visit our monthly Showcase for a teaser of Rudolph's Chocolate Showpiece.
